Furniture Assembly Care and Safety

Follow the product instructions and these general precautions to assemble, use and care for TAVRYN HOME furniture safely.

Before assembly

· Read the complete product instructions before beginning.

· Check that all parts and fittings are present and undamaged.

· Use a clean, level surface and protect floors during assembly.

· Use two adults where the product page or instructions recommend it.

· Keep small fittings and packaging away from children and pets.

Wall restraint

Tall, narrow or top-heavy furniture must be secured using an appropriate anti-tip restraint where supplied or instructed. Wall materials differ, so the supplied wall plug may not suit every wall. If unsure, obtain suitable fixings or professional advice. Never allow children to climb, hang or play on furniture.

Moving and adjustment

Empty furniture before moving it. Lift rather than drag. Do not move furniture while someone is sitting or standing on it. For folding, pivoting, height-adjustable or convertible products, keep fingers clear of hinges and moving parts and confirm that locks are fully engaged before use.

Weight and intended use

Follow any maximum load stated on the product page or assembly instructions. Distribute weight evenly. Do not use shelves, tables, stools or cabinets as steps or ladders unless the product is expressly designed and labelled for that purpose.

General care

· Wipe timber and coated surfaces with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly.

· Use coasters, placemats and heat protection. Avoid prolonged moisture and direct heat.

· Do not use abrasive pads, bleach, solvent cleaners or silicone-based furniture polish unless the care instructions permit them.

· Vacuum upholstery using a soft brush attachment and blot spills rather than rubbing.

· Check and retighten assembly fittings periodically, especially after moving the item.

Electrical equipment

Products designed to organise routers, chargers or cables do not include electrical equipment unless expressly stated. Keep ventilation openings clear, use electrical products according to the manufacturer’s instructions and disconnect equipment before cleaning or rearranging cables.
