Who receives information
We share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers and other recipients, including Shopify and website hosting providers, payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, warehouses and fulfilment partners, delivery carriers, customer-support and email providers, analytics or advertising providers used in line with your cookie choices, professional advisers, insurers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies and a buyer or adviser involved in a genuine business transaction.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we use an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including contract, accounting, tax, warranty, dispute and security needs. Order and financial records are generally retained for up to 6 years after the relevant transaction or relationship, unless a longer period is legally required. Customer-service records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Cookie lifetimes are described in the cookie settings or cookie list presented on the website.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information; object to processing; receive portable information; and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
How to exercise your rights
Email support@tavrynhome.com. We may ask for information needed to confirm identity and locate the relevant records. We normally respond within one month, although the law permits an extension for complex or numerous requests. We will explain any extension or lawful refusal.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can address the concern. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. Your right to complain is not affected by contacting us first.
Children
The store is intended for adults purchasing household goods. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Keep account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorised activity.
